Cub Scout Pack 457 will be out this Saturday 3/7 putting out door hangers in Bloomingdale for Scouting for Food. If you receive a door hanger, please put donated food out on 3/14. If possible attach the door hanger to your donation. Last year the Scouts in Three Fires Council collected 35,000 items of food for local food pantries. Please help grow that number and help your neighbors.

Thank you to everyone for helping with Scouting for Food 2025- We are starting to gear up for Scouting for Food 2026. The dates will be March 7-22 2026.

Last year We had 60 units participate council wide. Scouts collected just under 30,000 items for local food pantries. The also received donations of $2900 which was used to purchase $21,000 worth of groceries for local food pantries.

LOCAL FOOD DRIVE Don't forget to put food out.-Cub Scout Pack 565 will be out tomorrow 2/23 in the Naper Carriage Hill, Oak Creek, and Hunters Woods neighborhoods. This is part of the Scouting for Food Drive in Three Fires Council. If you recieved a door tag on Monday, please put out non perishable food. The Scouts will be around to pick it up by 4PM. All Food collected is being donated to the 4 Kids Sake Food Pantry. Please help your neighbors in need.

Well Scouting for Food has started. Units have started putting out door tags around various towns. The automated social media posting is working (A few glitches- as it is sometimes posting to this page also- rather than just to Lisle, Naperville, or Lombard so far)
So that is why you may be seeing posts for specific towns here.

So far 59 units participating
Over 20,000 door tags delivered
$200 donated
24 Storefront locations booked

We still have about 2,000 door tags, and 500 storefronts available.

Scouts will be placing door hangers up in those neighborhoods. If you receive a door hanger, please put out non expired, non perishable food out on your front porch on 2/23 and the Scouts will be around to pick it up. All Food collected is being donated to the 4 Kids Sake Food Pantry. Please help your neighbors in need. Each door tag will also have a QR code that you can click to make a monetary donation. Link will take you to a support/solving hunger website hosetd through the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Any money donated will be coming back as food to the 4 Kids Sake Food Pantry.
