Hello Region VIII, My name is Dawson Sanford and I from the Canon Falls FFA chapter, and I’m excited to be serving as your 2026-2027 Region VIII vice president! I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin river falls majoring in agriculture education with a minor in dairy science. I’ve been involved in FFA since 8th grade. My favorite CDE is Milk Quality. I have also competed in Best Informed Greenhand, Ag mechanics, nursery landscape, and fish and wildlife. My SAE is in food safety, where I work at a local pizza shop. Outside of FFA, I enjoy spending time on the golf course or with my two younger siblings and taking every opportunity to grow as a leader and support others. I’m looking forward to a great year full of connection, service, and success with all of you in Region VIII!

Hey Region VIII!
My name is Avery Klassen and I'm currently serving as the Region Vlll Reporter! I am from St. Charles where I am a senior in high school this year. I am currently serving as my chapter’s secretary as well. I joined FFA in 8th grade and since then I've competed in three CDE’s. My favorite one is Agronomy! I also exhibit corn and soybeans at the Olmsted and State Fair. I have five smaller SAE's but my biggest ones are working at a local restaurant and working on my family’s farm.
Outside of FFA, I'm also involved in 4-H, volleyball, and track. In 4-H I am currently serving as the Winona County 4-H Federation President! You can also find me hanging out with friends, listening to music, or on the ski hill. I can't wait to meet you all through out the year!
