Congratulations to SJSO Explorer Post 911 for their accomplishments during the Florida Sheriff’s Explorer Association Summer State Conference in Orlando.
Explorers competed in a variety of simulated law enforcement scenarios such as Domestic Violence, Active Shooter, Loitering and Prowling, Crime Scene, Traffic Stops, Cell Extraction, Crisis Intervention, and officer down scenarios, and earned the following awards:
🏆 1st Place - Domestic Violence Scenario
🏆 Explorer Major Landon Pabon 1st Place - First-Time Shooter (Center Fire Division)
🏆 Explorer Sergeant Isabella Goldman-Novak 1st place - Female Physical Agility Test
🏆 Explorer Major Gabe Farese 2nd Place - Driving Competition
🏆 Explorer Chris Smith 2nd Place - Sharpshooter Award
These accomplishments are a reflection of the dedication, discipline and commitment shown by our Explorers. The countless hours of training, preparation, and teamwork contributed to these achievements.
