Connor’s Law was created in memory of Connor “Peanut” Dzion, a special young man whose life was taken far too soon. His mother, Mellissa, has turned unimaginable heartbreak into meaningful action by becoming an incredible advocate for her son and helping change federal traffic laws in hopes of preventing another family from experiencing this kind of tragedy.

Mellissa’s strength, determination, and commitment to keeping Connor’s memory alive are truly inspiring. We are beyond grateful for her incredibly generous donation to the Cooper Lyles Foundation and for helping us continue our mission of honoring Cooper’s legacy. Two families, two incredible young men, and a shared commitment to making a difference in their honor.
