The Cadets had a great time teaching Hands Only CPR today at the St. Augustine Amphitheater Farmer’s Market. Thank you to all the community members that stopped by our tent to chat, see live demonstrations and practiced hard and fast compressions! Hopefully, we trained someone to save a life one day! Community service is a big part of what we do! A big shout out to SJCFR Station 7 for bringing out the engine and The St. Augustine Amphitheater Farmer’s Market for allowing us to put on the event!

🚒 HELP SUPPORT ST. JOHNS COUNTY FIRE RESCUE CADET POST 343 🚒

Our Cadet Post is always looking for ways to raise funds to provide our cadets with training, equipment, travel opportunities, competitions and experiences throughout the year.

One of the ways we raise money is through raffle baskets at various Cadet Post events and we are currently looking for donations to help us build some great baskets! 🎟️

We are looking for new items, gift cards, services, experiences or even complete themed baskets. Donations do not necessarily have to be local — we welcome anything that would make a fun and appealing raffle prize!

Some ideas include:

🎣 Fishing & outdoor gear
🔥 Grilling & BBQ items
🏕️ Camping & adventure items
🧰 Tools & useful gear
🎬 Entertainment & experience gift cards
🍽️ Restaurant gift cards
🎁 Gift baskets & specialty items
🏈 Sports-related items
🛍️ Retail gift cards
☕ Coffee & food baskets
🥃 Adult-themed baskets, Bourbon or W**e
…and anything else you think would make a great raffle prize!

💙 Businesses and individuals are both welcome to donate! Whether it’s a $10 gift card or a complete basket, every donation helps us support the young men and women of our Post.

📅 Current donation deadline: October 26

If you or your business would like to donate, please comment on this post or message us directly so we can coordinate the donation. We would also greatly appreciate you sharing this post with friends, family, and local businesses.

It truly takes a village to support our cadets! 🚒❤️

It was a super early and HOT morning full of love, honor and service! The Cadets were blessed to have been part of the annual Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K today! Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
The cadets appreciate the opportunity to volunteer at the event and run in the 5K. It was a moving experience to talk to friends and family of the fallen, and watch the overwhelming pride of the runners who carried a picture of a first responder who lost their life 25 years ago. We cannot wait until next year!
