Another St. Augustine Christmas Parade in the books!!! Great job, Linda Abbott, with organizing this Christmas Parade each year. We have great krewe and great friends that help this be a success each year. We paid homage to our fallen comrades that aren't with us any longer. Ship Bells ringing for Commodore Tom Brown, Quartermaster Philthy Phil Reed, Lady Red Sylvia Martin McGinnis, Jason Martin, Sandra McGinnis Conner, Mark Vandiver, and John Klanker Druash. May they continue their rest in peace and watch over us from heaven.

The Hastings Annual Christmas Parade
Hastings, Fl (about 18 m SW of St. Augustine on SR 207)

Saturday, December 9, 2023 @ 10:00 am

The parade is a mile long from start to finish, beginning at the Harris Community Center on W Main Street and ending in front of the Hastings Branch Library on East Main Street. The day will also feature a Hastings Main St. Market, as well as food trucks and tasty treats for all!

Please let me know if you are interested - I need an estimated head count.

Time to say farewell to Thomas "Admiral" Brown a.k.a. Capt'n Tom

Thomas was born on February 21, 1961 and passed away in August 2019. Tom graduated from St Johns County Day School in Orange Park, Florida, and attended Embry-Riddle and Jacksonville Universities. A funeral mass will be held for Thomas Brown on Wednesday, August 21st, at 10:00 AM, at San Sebastian Catholic Church, on SR 16, in St Augustine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haven Hospice of North Florida or the American Cancer Society.
