Our Council is very sad to share the passing of Sir Knight X.L. Pellicer Jr.

He was a member of our Council for 72 years, following his father (X.L. Pellicer Sr.), and his grandfather (A.J. Pellicer) who was one of our Charter Members in 1901.

His legacy of service to our parish and the wider community will not be forgotten, and our prayers are with his family in this time.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our beloved brother Ed Sleyzak, our State Secretary, has gone home to be with our Father in heaven.

Please join us in lifting up Ed’s family in prayer during this time of grief and loss. May God’s comfort and peace surround them, and may Ed’s memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

Back in May, some of our Brothers were on hand for the 122nd Florida State Convention. As you may notice, our Council stands as not only the oldest in Florida, but also the tallest. A great time had by all!
