Oops - looks like I forgot to post this earlier.

After her boyfriend botches the delivery of $100,000 in drug money, Lola has 20 minutes to come up with the cash to save his life. This is a remastered newly released version of the Sundance 1999 Audience Award winner. It is a fast actioned (there is lots of running) Summer fun movie. Using some very inventive filmmaking, the director gives us several different possible outcomes based on small differences of coincidental events. Think Quentin Tarrantino meets Groundhog Day without as much violence as Tarrantino usually provides. In German with English subtitles.

Meet L. A. filmmaker, David Mesfin, who spent his younger years in St. Augustine and learned to surf with the local community. We're also working on getting speakers from the historic 1964 St. Augustine Wade-In at the pier to answer questions after the movie.

Reminder that the Film Society is having our Valentines Day Party Friday Feb 9th at The Waterworks at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM. We are partnering with Friends of the Main Library.

We are showing shorts from around the world on the topic of love and relationships. You can come with a partner or singley and maybe meet the partner of your dreams because there will be plenty of opportunity to socialize.

Film Society Members and students Free, Guests are $8.00 pp.
