Last week we inducted two new members into our club, learned about the great work being done at the St. Johns County Health Department, and also heard from Dr. Jane White about the mental health crisis in South Africa, and how we could help support her mission from St. Augustine! This morning a few of our club members volunteered at Betty Griffin Center's Thrift Shop. We helped sort and stock the shelves. As fast as we were putting things out people were taking them out of our hands. There is a great selection of Halloween costumes, Halloween, Fall and Christmas decor, amongst clothing and so many other items. Rusty Hall, President of the Menorcan Cultural Society, and Lea Craig, one of the founders of The Minorcan Experience, will flip the switch at this year’s Light-Up! Night, kicking off the 2025 Nights of Lights on Saturday, November 15 at 6:30pm in the Plaza de la Constitución.
