Thank you so much for making a donation to the 9NEWS Stuff for Students school supply drive. Last year 22 school districts,all the way from Littleton to Fort Collins, received more than $72,000 worth of supplies.

Did you know that it is a felony to enroll your child in the “wrong” school district? Thanks to public outcry, CT’s state law may be changing. If successful, those cases would be a civil matter, handled by the school board.

If we join together, we CAN make a change. Are there any causes that you feel passionate about, that would inspire you to make a difference in the world?

How can anyone, in good conscience, deny a hungry person food? How can they make it illegal to feed someone who is hungry? Tampa is trying to follow Orlando’s lead in making it illegal for large organizations to feed the homeless and hungry in public places.

What do you think? Should organizations have to have a permit to feed the homeless, and only be able to do so twice a year?
