If someone tried to intimidate your child, would they know what to do? 👀

As parents, we can’t control how other people treat our children but we can help equip them with the confidence and skills to navigate difficult situations.

That starts with teaching them that:
🥋 They can stand up for themselves without feeling pressured to fight.
💪 Their voice matters, and they have the right to set boundaries.
🧠 Walking away and asking for help are signs of wisdom, not weakness.
🔥 They don’t have to prove their worth to anyone.

At Shinsei, we believe confidence is something children can DEVELOP.

Through martial arts, kids get opportunities to practice speaking up, facing challenges, receiving correction, and discovering they’re capable of more than they thought.

And while confidence doesn’t guarantee a child will never be bullied or intimidated, it can help them build skills to respond and seek support.

On behalf of Hope & Deliverance, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued generosity, dedication, and support. Shinsei has always been a part of this ministry from the beginning.

The Shinsei families that have committed to serving others help make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

Once again, we are excited to invite Shinsei families and local supporters to participate in our 24th Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner! This special tradition is an opportunity for us to come together, serve our neighbors, and share the spirit of Thanksgiving through fellowship, compassion, and community support.

For those who are new this year, we warmly welcome you! In addition to the items listed on the sign-up page, there are several other ways to help meet the needs of individuals and families in our community. We gratefully accept donations of the following new or gently used items:
• Warm clothing for women, men, and children
• Comforters and blankets
• Travel-size hygiene products, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and body wash
• Gloves
• Scarves

Homework time at Shinsei is serious business… but apparently not too serious.

One of the best parts of our After-School Care is that homework gets handled before pickup. Kids have dedicated time to work through their assignments with staff support, so parents aren’t walking through the door at 7 PM wondering, “Did you do your homework?” 😅
