The race is once again live and takes you through the most scenic parts of our beautiful city, and race proceeds go to running teams at St. Johns County high schools and middle schools, $275,000 over the past 21 years. Ways to get involved include:
1. Run the
race! Encourage others to run with you.
2. Sponsor the race! Or find others who may want to sponsor the race. For sponsorship information, go to www.matanzas5k.com and click on the “Sponsor” tab on the left side.
3. Work at the race! We need workers for a variety of functions and will give you a job that best suits your interest. We won’t give you a job you don’t want to do! And you can run the race first, and then help after if you like.
4. Find vendors for the Race Expo! We have a two-day Race Expo in Ketterlinus Gym and have various sized booths available for interested businesses.
5. WE ARE COLLECTING OLD SNEAKERS AT THIS YEARS RACE!!!!! RECYCLE!!!!
