This event is around the corner on June 20th in Jacksonville. Great line up of speakers including two MDS neurologists and a neurosurgeon from Jacksonville, a neuropsychologist and myself.
My talk is "From Floor to Feet, Mastering the Comeback".
Falls happen, getting up is a skill. This interactive talk will review and demo different ways to get down and up from the ground to maintain independence and build confidence.

Dog Rose Brewing Co. presented Rebloom with a $1600 check today to close out our Pints For Parkinson's fundraiser. In case you missed it we raised a total of 30k to support our exercise, wellness and educational programs for people with Parkinson's and their care partners!

So far we have introduced 18 people with Parkinson's to Rock Climbing Stone Climbing. It's been so fun watching people try something new, to be challenged, and to keep coming back for more. Some folks are newly diagnosed, others have had Parkinson's for 20 years, and everything in between. There is no risk of falling so people with balance impairment can exercise without fear!

4th Annual Pints For Parkinson's Photo Dump!
The community came out in a big way and helped us raise close to 30K!!!! The evening was full of joy, amazing music by Yeller Dog, and perfect weather! A big shout out to Dog Rose Brewing Co. for working their tails off and making sure everyone had a Pint For Parkinsons!
