Teays Hill Cemetery is located on the top of a hill to the west of Saint Albans, West Virginia. From there, one has quite a spectacular view of Saint Albans and the Kanawha River as it flows in a westerly direction. Wandering through Teays Hill Cemetery, one can quietly explore the many old monuments of various designs and inscriptions. Some of the trees are original to the property and are referr

ed to as "Witness Trees." They help make the cemetery a haven where history comes alive. The Teays Hill Cemetery Association encourages people to choose a memorial grave marker that reflect a person's life. More than seven thousand of our family, neighbors, and community members lie at rest in this historic cemetery. Teays Hill Cemetery is rich in history and meaning-- and is an important part of our community. It is up to all of us to keep it safe and beautiful for future generations.
