April 11, 2026 - This is a photo of the Town Office and Fire Station dating back to 1948. The building was originally a repurposed one room schoolhouse name Washington School which the firemen had hauled to town. The Washington School was located on the road to Gaetan & Therese Rosingnol residence on Chasse Road, Flat Mountain.
This is how the St. Agatha Town Office looks like today ….the Washington School is still in there and can claim having served the town for some 75 years …. This coming week we will say “Good-Bye.”
