Happy Labor Day Weekend from Saguache Works! We are OPEN all weekend, including Monday! We have some great local food for your Labor Day cookout, including Gosar Sausages, Blue Range Ranch ground beef, Pueblo Sweet Corn, fresh tomatoes from Monte Vista and from Pueblo, fresh Colorado red onions and fresh organic Palisade Peaches and Nectarines!

We also got in more fresh Romaine Lettuce from Monte Vista, Jalapeno peppers from Pueblo, Tumbleweed bread (Turmeric Onion and Mountain Mama Sourdough), Bolita Beans, White dry Posole from New Mexico, Alpine Valley Mushrooms, and we have Fall 2026 harvest honey from Evergreen Apiaries!

Fresh Colorado Produce was delivered yesterday from the Valley Roots Food Hub (VRFH) to the Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store! VRFH has been making changes to their delivery schedule and we are now receiving our weekly order on Fridays instead of Thursdays. It could switch back, but it looks like this will be our delivery day for at least a month or two going forward. Newly arrived items can be purchased once the staff can price them. Thank you for your patience.

Yesterday, we received fresh Romaine lettuce and Early Girl tomatoes from Monte Vista and we got in fresh Sweet Corn from Pueblo and certified organic Peaches from Palisade!

On Thursday, we received an order of fresh bread and cookies from Tumblewed Bread! We also got in cookies from Worth the Drive Bakery in Monte Vista this week!

The Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store has more fresh Colorado produce that just came in! We have restocked Pueblo sweet corn, Organic Palisade Peaches and Nectarines, Monte Vista Beets, Tomatoes and Zucchini! We also have shish*to peppers, cucumbers and candy onions (sweet, similar to a vidalia) from Pueblo! Fresh Mushrooms are available from Alpine Valley Mushrooms, too!

We have fresh bread and cookies from Tumbleweed and fried pies from Worth the Drive Bakery!

Today is Sale Saturday at the Saguache Works Blue Earth Thrift Store where most items are 50% off all day long! Since donations come in regularly, hunting for thrift treasures and bargains is always changing.

The Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store has also received deliveries for more produce, including organic Palisade peaches and nectarines. It's also a good source to find local products as well as food items that meet dietary needs such as organic or gluten-free.

The Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store has been busy restocking favorites and fresh Colorado produce!

This week, we have organic nectarines from Palisade and more organic peaches, too! We also got in more Rocky Sweet Melons, a melon grown in Rocky Ford that looks like a cantaloupe on the outside, but has a sweet juicy green flesh on the inside!

We also got a fresh delivery of Tumbleweed bread and we brought in more cookies from Worth the Drive Bakery.

Colorado and local produce season is in full-swing at the Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store! This week, we have more organic peaches from Palisade's Sweet Cheeks orchard and more sweet corn from Pueblo! Also in are fresh radishes, salad turnips and red beets, all from regenerative soil farms in the SLV! We have more Early Girl tomatoes from Monte Vista, too! New this week are fresh Purple sweet peppers from Pueblo! We also have Rocky Ford Canteloupe melons!

We also got a fresh delivery of Mountain Mama bread from Tumbleweed Bakery in Monte Vista! We also carry local meat in our freezer case from favorites like Blue Range Ranch (beef), Gosar (pork and chicken sausages) and Haugen Lamb.

The Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store has Organic Palisade Peaches! We will get them each week for as long as we can, but we don't know how long the season will last this year!

We also have Tomatoes and Zucchini from Monte Vista and sweet corn and green onions from Pueblo!

We have baked goods from Worth the Drive Bakery in Monte Vista, including cookies, fried pies and yeast breads. Tumbleweed bread brought cookies, Ute Corn Anadama Sourdough bread and Mountain Mama bread!

We also just got in a shipment of coffee from Mountain Phoenix Coffee in Salida!

We just got more honey from Saguache's Evergreen Apiaries, too!

Today is "Sale Saturday" in the Blue Earth Thrift Store, where most items are 50% off all day! If you are out enjoying the Hollyhock Festival and Art Walk and enjoy "thrift store art," you might find something fun in our store.

The Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store just got more Colorado produce. Our delivery was late this week, but arrived yesterday and included sweet corn from Pueblo, fresh spring mix, spinach, yellow squash, cucumbers, radishes and carrots! We also got more Honey Smoked Salmon (a Colorado company) which is smoked and ready to enjoy right out of the package!

Fresh Tumbleweed Bread was also delivered and we have the signature Mountain Mama sourdough as well as this week's feature flavor called Everything Sourdough.

Saguache Works partipates in a grant-funded program through Nourish Colorado called Double-Up Food Bucks. Folks who purchase food using their SNAP/EBT benefits get a $1 voucher for every dollar they spend (up to a maximum of $20 per day). The vouchers can be used to purchase produce, which means that SNAP/EBT customers can get free produce when they shop at stores that participate in this program.

Saguache Works also receives grant funding for a discount for Saguache County resident adults over the age of 60 to buy food at a 20% discount. This program is called the Saguache Healthy Elders Discount (SHED). The Saguache County BOCC has generously supported this program through the sales tax grant funding. We are very grateful for their support.

Today is also Sale Saturday in the Saguache Works Blue Earth Thrift Store where most items are 50% off all day long! The thrift store continues to accept donations of gently used clothing, books, household items, games, and more during our business hours. Unfortunately, we cannot accept most electronics or very large furniture, due to our spacial constraints. Thank you to all of our generous donars!

Colorado produce season is really starting to ramp up and so the Saguache Works 4th Street Food Store is getting lots of local and Colorado options that are either organic or from regenerative soil farms.

We have fresh red spring onions from Pueblo, tasty organic red raspberries from Crestone, organic apricots from the western slope, cherry tomatoes, carrots, salad greens, shish*to peppers, radishes, carrots, snacking peas and zucchini all from Monte Vista, sour pie cherries from Canon City, and basil from Pueblo.

We also got in more cookies and baked goods from Worth the Drive Bakery, as well as fresh bread and cookies from Tumbleweed bakery in Monte Vista! We love supporting our local food producers!

We also sell cold drinks and ice cream as refreshing treats on a hot summer day!
