Mid-Michigan Area Labor Council/AFL-CIO The ALC is the regional body that brings together unions from different sectors to fight for decent wages, safe working conditions, and strong communities.

The Area Labor Council is the regional body that brings together unions from different sectors to fight for decent wages, safe working conditions, and strong communities. With the united effort of our unions, we seek to build a labor movement that will help strengthen the voice of working families at all levels of government by advancing candidates, causes, and policies. The Mid-Michigan Area Labor Council, an affiliate of the AFL-CIO, serves working families and our affiliate unions in the counties of Arenac, Bay, Gratiot, Huron, Saginaw, Sanilac, and Tuscola.
