Film Friends is a youtube community within the Tri-Cities. The following is explained in these three simple categories. As a Community...
- We want to establish a filming community primarily within the Tri-Cities (exceptions can be made).
- We want to help others, share equipment, and build our own portfolios in the process (are you working on submitting a video for a contest or scholars
hip? Can we, Film Friends, help?)...
- We are here to be your buddy to lean on when you need help
The Data Base...
- The "Data Base," is collected information from all the people that eventually help us and join the community.
- For example, if we borrow someone for an acting position we will ask or take a photo of them and gather contact info and other talent-related information. This will go into a filing system so we can ask them for help with future projects in another one of our films.
- Anyways actors won't be the only people in this database. Everyone who helps from Pre to Post Production like; writers, photographers, set designers, sound, makeup/wardrobe, lighting , and other people will be accounted for as well. Again this is to help people get a taste of the industry, get more reliable people to help you, and to build your portfolio... (does this help clear things up?). Helping others/ Business/ Trips...
- Again we encourage this community to help and support other people's projects.
- We could potentially help the community and local restaurants with camera work for SOME profit and create a bond between companies in order to get access to their location for shooting for a potential film/ project. The possibilities are endless.
- Lastly, do you want to go to LA (or Vidcon), NYC, Canada, Chicago, and other fun locations to learn about film? Well, when making some cash from certain gigs we can fundraise to take a charter bus or a van to these locations and learn as a group how the "big wigs," create motion pictures. Who knows this community may grow nationwide, or fall flat on its face. Anyways join us for the fun of it and shoot me an email with the subject title (Film Friends in the Tri-Cities)
- In a couple months, I hope to scout for possible meeting locations at local restaurants, delta college, the Dow Event Center, etc... (a general meeting will be held once a month along with smaller meet ups. For special projects, group members will probably gather more often or as scheduled (Look at the Facebook GROUP page for more info on specific events and dates).
- If you need a ride, please let me know and I might be able to arrange a safe way for you to arrive.
- Saftey is a big concern at Film Friends, we may require you to send in a photo of yourself and other ID in order to join the club. Youtube videos about the club may help clarify some information in the near future. IMPORTANCE NOTICE*************************************************
ABOUT OUR DEMOGRAPHICS
-We are looking for high school to college, or fresh out of college community Film Friends. (ages 12- 30ish) PLEASE send me a message if you don't fit the "age range," exceptions can be made. The main reason for this age range is to build growth to our filming abilities and to learn in this process. Also, Certain generations/ age groups participate better with others in the same age group.

THE FOUNDER OF FILM FRIENDS
Brian L. is the founder of Film Friend's and is the current president of the community. He is 19 years of age. He is/will be the main spokesperson for the community as you will see in the videos and or group meetings. Brian has been yearbook editor, attends college for Digital Film, may possibly transfer to MSU, shoots on primarily a DSLR Canon T5i, has taken multiple media classes in high school, creates youtube videos, and took photos for a "small" Pizzeria (G's Pizzeria), to see most of the photos you can look at the Pizzeria's webpage (facebook or WWW. page) and on the menu at all locations.
