We are so grateful for CAN Council and the support they provide to parents and families in our community. This 10-week course is designed to encourage, equip, and strengthen parents—and we’re excited to be a part of it!

A Heartfelt Thank You to CRA Bankers!

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to CRA Bankers for partnering with us to provide valuable financial education during our Higher Purpose Success & Empowerment Hour, in collaboration with the Rescue Ministries.

On September 17, CRA Bankers presented an engaging financial education class at Good Samaritan, followed by another impactful session on September 21 at Saginaw Rescue Mission.

Both sessions provided an opportunity for participants to gain practical insight, ask important questions, and receive clarity around their finances. We were grateful to see such meaningful engagement and thoughtful questions throughout each class.

Financial empowerment begins with understanding, setting goals, making intentional choices, and being willing to start somewhere. We believe these sessions helped encourage our participants to take that next step and view their financial future with greater confidence and purpose.

Thank you, CRA Bankers, for sharing your time, knowledge, and expertise and for investing in the people and communities we serve. Your partnership made a meaningful impact, and we truly appreciate your commitment to helping others grow, learn, and move forward.

Purpose starts with a question. 💭

At the Great Lakes Bay Health Fair at Saginaw United, Higher Purpose had the opportunity to connect with more than 1,000 students and invite them to think beyond today:

✨ What is your purpose?
✨ How will you change the world?

Their answers became part of our Purpose Board—a powerful reflection of their dreams, ideas, and visions for a better future.

From bold ambitions to meaningful acts of change, these students reminded us that young people already have the ideas, passion, and potential to make an impact. Sometimes, it starts with simply creating the space for them to imagine what’s possible.

The future is full of world changers. We’re honored to help them see it.

Last Friday was a busy and beautiful day of serving our neighbors! ❤️ Our team helped repair a bed, deliver household items, remove an old bed, and bring a bed frame and Pack 'n Play to a family who was just moving into their new home.

We were also blessed by a neighbor who generously donated a furniture set so others in our community could benefit from it. And, in the middle of a busy day, we even took a moment to stop and admire the beautiful sunflowers growing tall in his yard. 🌻

We’re so thankful for our wonderful volunteers who give their time and energy to help others, and for neighbors who generously give what they can. It’s moments like these that remind us how special it is when a community comes together to care for one another. 🏡❤️
