This is our why. ❤️

This is not AI.

This is the reality of child bedlessness in America—two children sharing a single playpen because they had nowhere else to sleep.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace - NY, Syracuse delivered beds to these children.

Many people don’t realize the extent of this crisis because it’s often hidden. But it’s pervasive, affecting children’s physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing—at no fault of their own.

Since 2012, Sleep in Heavenly Peace has proudly built and delivered over 400,000 beds, but we've received over one million beds applications.

💙 Saturday Bed Deliveries Were a Huge Success! 🛏️

What a wonderful Saturday of bringing comfort, hope, and sweet dreams to local children! Our amazing volunteers came together to deliver beds to kids who now have a cozy place of their very own to sleep. 🥰

There’s nothing quite like seeing the smiles on their faces. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Saturday’s deliveries possible — from building and preparing the beds to loading, delivering, and putting them together. Your time and generosity make a lasting difference in the lives of children in our community.

For the second year in a row, our Saginaw Chapter was honored to be the recipient of the employee benefit golf outing hosted by William A. Kibbe & Associates, Inc.

Vice President Eric Marter and Administrative Assistant Lindsey Legner recently presented our Chapter President, Christina Licht, with a very special Big Check!

We simply cannot thank the Kibbe team enough for their incredible generosity and for making a meaningful difference in the lives of children who do not have a bed of their own. This generous gift will be transformed into lumber, mattresses, and bedding to provide complete beds for children in neighborhood homes—just in time for Christmas. 🎄🛏️

William Kibbe & Associates is an engineering and architectural firm that does outstanding work for municipalities and organizations throughout our community. After working with their team for the past two years, we have come to know them not only for their professional excellence, but also as some of the kindest, most giving, and caring people we have had the privilege to work with.

Thank you, Kibbe team, for believing in our mission, supporting our community, and helping us give children a safe and comfortable place to sleep. We are truly grateful! ❤️

🌧️ It may have been a little wet on Saturday, September 19, but the rain certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of our Saginaw and Auburn chapter volunteers at Hemlock Sawdust Days! 🎉

Our SHP team joined the parade, greeting the large crowd along the route. We even had a special four-legged volunteer along for the morning! 🐴 Ivy, the horse of one of our incoming Delivery Managers, joined the fun and was a big hit.

It was a wonderful morning connecting with our community and spreading the word about our mission: “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.”

We are so thankful for our dedicated volunteers and for all the groups and community members who continue to support this important mission. Together, we’re helping make sure kids have a safe, comfortable place to sleep. ❤️

This past Wednesday was a productive morning as students from Valley Lutheran High School joined our build team to make beds for children in our community. As part of their school-wide service day, the students had the opportunity to experience every step of the process, working at each build station to assemble the bed components.

A heartfelt thank-you to these students for giving their time, energy, and enthusiasm to help ensure that No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town. We’re grateful for their service and proud to have them as part of our build team!
