We are currently looking for sponsors for The Fordney Club-Red Feather Fundraiser. In 2026, we are thrilled to announce a remarkable event dedicated to empowering youth and celebrating women's hockey. In addition to our longstanding Red Feather Football game.

Red Feather Hockey's Youth and Women's Hockey Day.

This exciting day will feature an incredible group of athletes including the local Girls Hornets Travel Team, the newly established Women's Team from SVSU, and the Saginaw Spirit, all coming together to showcase their skills and passion for the game.

All Red Feather sponsorships and advertisements this year will be for both the Red Feather Football and for the Red Feather Hockey. Advertisements for Red Feather Hockey will be advertised inside the Dow Event Center for the youth and SVSU games and inside the Red Feather Football Program.

Throughout the day, our generous sponsors will be prominently showcased around the rink, ensuring their support is recognized by all attendees. As we rally the community around this inspiring occasion, providing an opportunity for everyone to witness the excitement and camaraderie that hockey brings.

On behalf of the Fordney Club, we would like to thank all sponsors for supporting the Red Feather Game over the past years. Thank you, again for supporting Red Feather Fundraising. The Fordney Club Board and more importantly the kids of Saginaw County appreciate you.

If you or anyone you know is interested in sponsoring for this fundraiser.

Please let Kyle Prinz, Blake Carmichael or any Fordney Club Board member know.

Last night we had our annual Past Presidents Steak Fry. We also discussed our upcoming Red Feather Football game and its history!

05/02/2025

The Club hosted their annual Board Induction at the Saginaw Country Club on April 29. This is a night where the Board and Past Presidents come together to induct the new officers of the Club. We would like to congratulate Travis Hare on becoming the new President for the 2025-2026 season and would also like to thank Matt Gronda for his 8 years of dedicated service on the Board, who is now part of the esteemed group of Past Presidents of the Fordney Club. We look forward to another great year!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who were in attendance, the many volunteers, those who made prize donations, and to the following sponsors for making our annual Nite at the Races another great success! It was a fantastic time honoring Dave "Salty" Saltmarshes memory and raising funds for the Greater Saginaw Amateur Hockey Association, a 501c3 non-profit that owns and operates the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena and runs skating programs such as youth house hockey, youth travel hockey, men's league, and learn to skate in Saginaw.
