Last week our ladies celebrated with viewing the gardens of our award recipients for various types of gardens. 🌺🫐

We all made it work even with the dangerous storms and downpours that went through our county. There was even a tornado that touched down in a Freeland subdivision. 🌪️

Thankfully everyone was ok and we were still able to make this garden walk event happen. 🍃

A few of our ladies experienced Daffodils for Detroit luncheon today at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle in Detroit.

Everything was beautifully decorated and seeing all the ladies with their Spring hats was fun. So many different colors and styles.

We all enjoyed learning about all the thousands of daffodils that are planted and more that will be planted from the proceeds of this event. They were so many as we drove up to the Yacht Club.

Our main topic of learning today was about the new Gordie Howe International Bridge. This area between Windsor, Ontario Canada and Detroit, MI will be the busiest port of entree for Canada. It is quite the bridge with all the design elements to a walking/biking path between cities. They said it should be opening soon. It was a good day!!!
