Books in Bloom was another successful event for Womans National Farm and Garden Saginaw Branch. This year was our 5th year Anniversary of the event. A lovely luncheon at Zehnders of Frankenmuth was the location. 🍂🐔

Our author (Dave Vizard) did a fabulous presentation of his book and the type of writing he does. 📚

We would like to thank everyone who attended and to also know that the proceeds go back into our community! It was a great day.

If you are watering constantly but your plants are still drooping, the secret isn't watering more often. It is watering deeper. Hot summer watering is all about pushing moisture down to where the roots need it.
Frequent, shallow watering keeps roots near the scorching surface, where they quickly dry out. Instead, give your garden a slow, thorough soak. This coaxes roots to grow deep into cooler, moisture-rich soil. For the best results, water early in the morning before the heat of the day causes major evaporation.
