πŸ’š Two giveaways. One day. So much heart!

A big THANK YOU to Connie B. for helping two households with their NEST giveaways in one day this week! Her kindness and care help our neighbors gather the essentials they need to make a house feel like home. 🏑

And take a look at that packed Chrysler! Bedding, pillows, a laundry basket, and household necessities filled the passenger seat and back seatβ€”each item helping someone get a fresh start.

These pictures also show a challenge many of our clients face: getting their items from PCN to their home. Having access to a truck, finding someone to help move furniture, or affording a rental can be a real hurdle when you’re rebuilding your life. Even when the items are free, getting them home can be difficult.

Thank you, Connie B., and all our volunteers and donors, for helping our neighbors move forward with comfort, dignity, and hope. πŸ’š

A special shout out to Bobby N and his team from the Scottish Inn who stopped by in their plaid van at our open house Wednesday and dropped off brand new pillows, blankets, towels washcloths, and much needed items that will go to great use.

A pillow to rest on, a warm blanket, and a clean towel bring comfort and dignity as they begin again. 🏑

πŸš› EVERY STOP HAS A STORY. EVERY DONATION CAN HELP START A NEW ONE. πŸ’šπŸ’›

This week, our truck made 25 pickupsβ€”tying our previous record! But the number tells only part of the story.

Seven stops were estates. Behind those doors were families grieving, memories being sorted, and loved ones choosing to turn loss into hope for someone else.

One family honored a 99-year-old woman who wished to remain in her home.
A son navigating the loss of his mother while his wife faces stage 4 cancer reached out to us.
A brother, who had just buried his sister, honored her wish that the household items we could use come to Partnership Center NEST.

These gifts carry meaning. And when they reach a neighbor starting over, they carry that love forward. ❀️

🏑 SIX FAMILIES BEGAN THEIR NEXT CHAPTER THIS WEEK.

They came through our doors for furniture and household essentials to help turn their new housing into a home.

A bed to rest in. A table to gather around. Everyday items that make a fresh start feel possible.

Since NEST began in 2019, nearly 2,400 families have received helpβ€”including approximately 750 full beds and 1,600 queen beds!

To our donors, volunteers, agency partners, and supporters: YOU are part of every one of those new beginnings. Thank you! πŸ™Œ

Thank you to everyone who supported Karen’s Christmas Sale! Some purchases will support another nonprofit’s silent auction benefiting children affected by gun violence. Small ornaments also went toward the tree giveaway at New Heart Mission Church.
