The Site Coordinator plays an essential role in the successful day-to-day operation of Freedom School. We are looking for someone who can lead with enthusiasm, support staff and scholars, maintain an organized and positive learning environment, and help bring the Freedom School experience to life each day.

Just when you thought it was over, our scholars continue to love on one another and do amazing things!

Bethel was blessed to welcome visiting scholars and to have the honor of hosting a scholar’s book signing. What a beautiful reminder that the connections we make and the love we share continue long after the event is over. Our scholars are truly doing great things! 📚✨

The Charles McNair Freedom School of Saginaw held its Closing Ceremony last Friday, and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. It was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together on behalf of its children.

Thank you to our parents for trusting us with your scholars each day. Thank you to our incredible staff who consistently went above and beyond, our enrichment and sports camp volunteers, community volunteers, host sites, Board of Directors, donors, and every individual who invested their time, talents, and resources into this year's program.
Together, we persevered through every challenge and remained committed to our mission of developing the JOY of reading, building confidence, and creating lifelong memories for our scholars.

To our scholars—you are the reason we do this work. Keep reading, keep dreaming, and keep believing in yourselves.

We did it!

Now... let's go! It's time to start planning for an even greater Charles McNair Freedom School of Saginaw 2027. The future is bright, and we're just getting started.
