It's not his feast day, but today we lift up our prayers to St. John Baptist de la Salle. That's because he's the patron saint of teachers, and today we celebrate World Teachers' Day!

World Teachers' Day honors the power and responsibility of educators to help guide generations of students. Here at the Catholic Community Foundation, we especially want to honor our Catholic educators, who help the next generation of Catholics grow into smart, capable, and faithful leaders.

A new month not only brings the beginning of a season, but also a new monthly devotion. This October, we celebrate the Month of the Holy Rosary🙏

Honoring the Holy Rosary is a reminder of the power of prayer, and Mary's role as intercessor on our behalf. May we spend time this month praying as part of our call to stewardship and care for others.💛

Today we celebrate the feast of St. Vincent de Paul, patron saint of charitable societies, charities, and volunteers!

Figures like St. Vincent de Paul are models of stewardship, care for others, and dedication to uplifting our Catholic communities. Those are all pillars we strive to uphold at the Catholic Community Foundation!

From awarding annual community grants, supporting students with scholarships, and supporting our parishes with annual disbursements, we work to carry on the legacy of saints like St. Vincent de Paul.
