Thursday Blurb: Marlee and Logan both have a couple of favorite things about YPD. They received their Shinning Star Award and attended the Annual Conference for the first time. They met so many youth from other states and other AME churches. Marlee even made a few friends and Logan notes that everyone was very friendly. They would love to attend the conference again and love holding an office for the YPD. The pizza lunches are nice as well! We love being a YPD'ER!

It’s “Wellness Wednesday”

Marlee: My gram makes sure I choose healthy snacks. I eat fruits twice per day and I feel awesome 👌. Remember to snack smart and take care of that body!

Logan: I’m snacking on healthy fruits instead of junk food! I play sports and try my best to snack and eat healthy 😋 ALL gone.

Late post for YPD Spirit Week but I want to share some pics from “Monday Madness”.

Logan was excited to design the Bethel AME Church Flag and he loves participating in the service on YPD 4th Sundays.

Marlee loves singing in the youth choir and being a member of the YPD.

💙 This World Mental Health Day, let’s remind one another that no one should have to face their darkest moments alone. 🫂❤️‍🩹

Let’s send love to those who smile while silently struggling, those who have survived battles they never thought they would overcome, those grieving someone they wish were still here, and those slowly finding their way back to themselves. 🥹🤍

Let’s remember those who feel alone even when surrounded by people, those who are hurting but cannot find the words to explain their pain, and those who need help but are afraid to ask for it. 🫶

Behind every smile, there may be a story we know nothing about. A little kindness, a moment of understanding, or simply being there for someone can make more of a difference than we realize. 🌷✨
