Hidden Harvest

Thankful for the partnership with the Bay Area Women's Center in and in sharing other resources as well!

Today, we had a visit from one of our favorite nonprofit partners, Hidden Harvest!

Dakota stopped by while on his Bay City route to pick up a gift basket donation we had prepared for Hidden Harvest. While here, we received some of the good food he had in the back of the truck to put it to good use with our shelter residents. We love when we can share resources with nonprofit friends!

We love with our friends (and fellow United Way of Midland County partners) at West Midland Family Center!

Strong communities grow through strong connections!

We’re grateful for our partnership with Hidden Harvest, whose food rescue efforts help bring fresh, quality food to families throughout our community. Together, we’re reducing food waste, stretching valuable resources further, and helping our neighbors put nutritious food on the table.

Thank you, Hidden Harvest, for helping our community keep giving, thriving, and growing together!

The Hidden Harvest team is thankful to our friends from Michigan Farm Bureau Insurance who volunteered today! They repacked nearly 2,000 lbs. of flour in 50 lbs bags into smaller quart size bags for distribution to our partner agencies. The volunteers then helped distribute rescued tomatoes, peppers, and strawberries to guests who came to have lunch with our friends from The East Side Soup Kitchen.
