We're back in the swing of things this fall at The Neighb - MI🍂
It's exciting to see our youth enjoying new technology and activities that keep them engaged, learning, active, and safe!
From virtual reality ocean experiences and basketball to interactive read-along pens and with Mrs. Fowkles, Mr. Robert, Mr. RJ, and Ms. Bri, we're finding new ways to make learning fun.
But my favorite moments are still watching our young people get completely lost in a good book! 📚❤️
It's about more than keeping kids busy. It's about giving them opportunities to explore, grow, and discover what they love.

Last Tuesday, we took literacy beyond the classroom with Reading at the Zoo! 📚🦁

The GOAT storyteller and true Literacy Warrior, Rhonda Farrell Butler, led our students through a reading experience in a whole new environment. Changing the setting gave our young readers an opportunity to learn, explore, connect stories to the world around them, and see that reading can happen anywhere.

From books to animals to new surroundings, it was literacy in motion!

Thank you, Rhonda, for bringing the stories to life and continuing to make reading an experience our students can get excited about.

It’s a good day to read—wherever you are! 📖
