Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD Education Foundation This is the official page for the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD Education Foundation located in north Texas.

The Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The Education Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by a full-time Director who is employed by the school district. The Communications Department of the EMS ISD also provides daily support of the Foundation.

The EMS ISD Education Foundation ("Education Foundation") is a charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the education of all students enrolled in the district. The Education Foundation has a vision for a public school district where innovative ideas are encouraged, applauded and adequately funded; a vision for a district where both students and staff are encouraged to continue their education by earning scholarships for their efforts; a district where business, community and educators come together to strengthen the future.

General information

The Education Foundation supports education in the EMS ISD by providing funding for three main programs: 1.) Innovative teaching grants 2.) Scholarships to high school graduates pursuing higher education 3.) Scholarships for district personnel working on higher education degrees related to education. Every year the Education Foundation grants approximately $20,000 in grants to fund projects that directly impact classroom learning and provide hands-on learning opportunities for students. The Education Foundation grants scholarships generally ranging from $500-$1,000 to graduates of the district. Approximately $40,000 in scholarships are granted every year to students. In order to encourage the continuing education of district staff, the Education Foundation provides scholarships of $500 to any district employee currently enrolled in a college program with a focus on education.
