Hi! Most of you know me already but those of you who may not my name is Laura Parks. I am Logan's mama and the founder of the Logan Park's Memorial Scholarship Foundation along with my son Matt Parks, who is the Co-Founder. This foundation was created by our family in honor of my son Logan Parks and in honor of the impact he made on So many student's lives. We are looking to raise $2500 to help cover expenses for our annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament. This tournament is held annually in Logan's Memory to raise money for our scholarships. These scholarships will be given to students and athletes who exemplify good moral character, strong leadership skills, who respect themselves and others, and other noble characteristics. Said scholarships are to be used to further education either in college, a trade school, certification programs, and 2nd to None training sessions or camps for those whom otherwise may not be able to attend. This foundation is important to us because it is the epitome of Logan: generous, kind, thoughtful, and most importantly giving back to the community. Logan truly enjoyed giving back and he did it freely, willingly, without ever expecting anything in return. Every day he looked forward to working with his students and athletes, on and off the court. Not only did Logan teach basketball skills he also taught many life lessons to his students; he instilled confidence, self esteem, respect for self and others, and how to turn a bad thing into something good and many other admiralble qualities. Logan was always giving back to others and to the community, this is why the foundation was created - to honor a young man with noble characteristics and to give back in Logan's memory. Just a small donation can help us reach our goal of $2500. All donations go directly into the scholarship fund and are tax deductible. If a monetary donation is not feasible or you would like to donate another way, we are also in need of silent auction items to be bid on. These can be in the form of gift certificates, services rendered, gift baskets; the options are endless! 🥰 I listed a few examples below: -gift certificates for goods or services that you yourself provide or from any establishment. -actual items, e.g. pampered chef, norwex, young living, isagenix, etc -any craft you enjoy doing; quilting, making yarn blankets, drawing, painting, woodwork, etc
-gift baskets are a good one, you can pretty much compile a "basket" of whatever you would like; hair care sets, Spa packages, men's baskets, the list is endless. These are only some examples, please feel free to put together any "package" you choose. Silent auction items can be dropped off at the Freeland Sports Zone in
