Call it a gut feeling, intuition, a longing ...
I wanted to start a podcast. But what do I talk about? What could I do?
My word for 2020 is Growth. Growth in myself, my family, my relationships, my business.
While I focus on this word, the theme of Leadership was laid on my heart. I can’t explain why. Or how. It was just there.
When I mentioned this to people, I’m surprised at how many of them had amazing stories to share. Things they were doing for their customers, their community. Unassuming people with humble backgrounds that went forward to chase their dreams, serve a bigger purpose, impact thousands if not millions of people.
Not surprisingly, these people were from Michigan.
That’s where the idea for this podcast came from. My calling to do a podcast; my calling to inspire others. Combine that with the powerful stories Michigan leaders want to share.
But would anyone like it?
I do know that when I talk about the podcast with potential guests, they get it. They sign up for it. They are excited to do it.
Because deep down inside, they feel like I feel. That people can be inspired to do good things, even great things. Whether that’s impacting 1 person or one million people.
The more time I spend with these leaders, the more inspired I become.
My hope is that you become inspired.
My hope is that this creates a movement. A movement of people who believe that they can make a difference.
