🎙️ Aurora’s Voice Matters | Part 1

When Aurora first joined the Voice of Youth Podcast Program, she was nervous about speaking and being behind the microphone.

Today, this 4th grader has completed her very first podcast recording and discovered something she loves—interviewing people and learning their stories.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It happens when young people are given a safe space to practice, make mistakes, and build confidence one conversation at a time.

Watching students like Aurora find their voice is exactly why we do this work. 💜

Today we’re excited to introduce the first group of youth participating in the 4th Annual I AM Youth Fashion Show! 💛

Each youth in this program is on a journey of confidence-building, self-expression, creativity, and personal growth. Over the past several weeks, they have been stepping outside their comfort zones, learning runway skills, building friendships, and discovering what their personal “I AM” statement means to them.

This year’s empowering themes are:

✨ Exciting Update! ✨

Today I stopped by First United Methodist Church and had the opportunity to meet Senior Pastor Amy while checking out the space for our upcoming I AM Youth Market: Learn • Earn • Grow!

A special thank you to Mr. Domingo from Musico for making the connection and helping bring this opportunity together. Community partnerships like these are what make youth opportunities possible. 💛

This will be our very first Youth Community Garage Sale & Market, created to help youth:

🌟 Learn to care for a cause bigger than themselves
🌟 Never give up on their dreams
🌟 Gain experience in fundraising and entrepreneurship
🌟 Build confidence through community engagement
🌟 Learn financial literacy and money management skills

We believe our youth are capable of so much more when we give them opportunities to lead, create, and grow.

🛍️ We are still looking for youth vendors and participants ages 4–17!

If your child would like to sell gently used items, handmade products, artwork, jewelry, clothing, or other youth-friendly items while learning valuable life skills, we’d love to have them join us.
