Calculators and spreadsheets might run our day-to-day, but sometimes you have to go back to the basics to make a real impact. Associates from our Northern Michigan offices recently rolled up their sleeves for the Father Fred Foundation’s Canstructure event. Using nearly $500 worth of canned goods, they built a sculpture modeled after an abacus—one of history’s original calculating tools. Afterward, all the food will be donated to support those in need. We are proud to support the Father Fred Foundation and its mission to provide food and essential resources to local families!

Associates in our Troy, MI office recently made an awesome contribution to Gleaners! They donated $1,587 and 290 lbs. of food that will help provide 7,924 meals for those in need. This is how our team lives our firm values in a thousand different ways every day!

Today, we pause to honor the life and enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a visionary leader who dedicated his life to the service of others. At Rehmann, our number one core value is putting people first. While we apply this to our business and community efforts, Dr. King exemplified this principle on a monumental scale. He taught the world that true leadership is rooted in empathy, that progress requires unity, and that prioritizing the dignity of every individual is the only path forward.

We are proud to support the One Shot Foundation Fundraiser, an event that directly benefits the Payton Wright Foundation. The Payton Wright Foundation provides vital financial assistance to families navigating the challenges of pediatric brain cancer, helping to ease the burdens that accompany a child's diagnosis and treatment. This event is also a special opportunity for our nation's service members to connect with and give back to the community. It is a privilege to stand alongside such dedicated community members making a difference both in and out of uniform.

Michelle Fowler, President of the Rehmann Foundation, joined The Bart Hawley Show on JTV to give a sneak peek of the foundation's 2025 grant recipients. We are proud to award a $10,000 grant to MyPlace of Jackson, an organization doing incredible work to support youth in the community.

This is just the start! The rest of our 2025 grant recipients will be announced on December 2nd as part of the global Day of Giving.

Our team had an amazing day giving back to the community with Detroit-based non-profit, Life Builders! From assisting senior citizens with yard work to removing carpeting in a home being renovated into an affordable rental property, our associates were all hands on deck.

We’re proud to support Life Builders’ mission and the incredible work they’re doing to uplift the community. Together, we’re building brighter futures!

May was Mental Health Awareness Month, and our associates went above and beyond to champion this vital cause! 💚Throughout the month, they actively participated in educational activities, learning more about mental health issues and how we can support one another. To further raise awareness and reduce stigma, many of our associates proudly wore green, the symbol of mental health awareness. We believe in fostering a workplace culture where mental health is prioritized and conversations about well-being are encouraged. Together, we’re building a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.
