Gila Valley Samaritan Home would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Arcadia Chapter No. 9, Order of the Eastern Star, for their generous donation of $200.

Your kindness and support help us continue providing meals, showers, laundry services, hygiene items, outreach, and hope to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship in our community.

A huge thank you to these beautiful Women of Worth from the  Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints for collecting and donating towels to Gila Valley Samaritan Home!

Towels are something we use every single day with the showers we provide to members of our homeless community. What may seem like a simple item makes a tremendous difference in helping our guests maintain their dignity, health, and well-being.

We are so grateful for your continued support, generosity, and servant hearts. These wonderful women are always showing up for us and for those we serve. Your kindness helps us continue providing essential services and reminds our guests that they are valued and cared for.

Today our Outreach Team (Eric Baietti and Tiffany Chase) is hitting the streets with more than just food—we’re bringing hope.

We are distributing:
🐾 15 pounds of dog food for our four-legged companions
🥪 30 sack lunches, each containing:
• Two sandwiches
• A bottle of water
• A bag of chips
• A donut
• Applesauce

Most importantly, we’re sharing encouragement, compassion, and a reminder that no one is forgotten.

Every meal, every conversation, and every act of kindness helps build connections and lets people know they matter.

Thank you to everyone who supports Gila Valley Samaritan Home and makes outreach like this possible. Together, we are making a difference—one person, one meal, and one act of kindness at a time.

🎉 EXCITING NEWS! 🎉
We are thrilled to announce that Gila Valley Samaritan Home has been selected to participate in the Giving Machine Program! ❤️
This is an incredible opportunity to bring awareness to homelessness in our community while allowing people to make a direct impact on the lives of those we serve. Through the Giving Machine, donors will be able to purchase much-needed items that help us provide essential services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
Since opening our doors in September 2023, we have been blessed by the support of our community, volunteers, donors, staff, and board members. This opportunity is a reflection of what can happen when a community comes together with compassion and purpose.
Every meal served, every shower provided, every load of laundry washed, every outreach effort, and every person helped move toward stability is made possible because of people like YOU.
We are honored to represent our community and can't wait to share more details in the coming months!

A heartfelt thank you to an anonymous family who blessed our guests this evening with a wonderful lasagna dinner. ❤️

The meal was made with so much love, care, and generosity, and it was truly appreciated by everyone who shared in it. Acts of kindness like this remind us how compassionate and giving our community is.

Thank you for taking the time to prepare and provide such a delicious meal. Your thoughtfulness nourished not only hungry stomachs but also hearts. We are incredibly grateful for your support of the mission of Gila Valley Samaritan Home.

We are looking for community members who would like to get involved and help make a difference at Gila Valley Samaritan Home (GVSH)! ❤️
We are currently forming two committees:
🏠 Shelter Project Committee – Help us plan and support the future of our shelter project.
🎉 Fundraising Committee – Help create ideas, organize events, and support fundraising efforts that allow us to continue serving our community.
If you have a heart for helping others and would like to be part of making a positive impact in our community, we would love to hear from you!

A huge thank you to our amazing board members, Dr. Susan Jones and Sherry Brady, along with Sherry’s daughter, Candace Brady, for blessing our guests with such an incredible meal today at Gila Valley Samaritan Home ❤️

Dr. Susan Jones made her special homemade cream corn, and Sherry Brady brought delicious barbecue sausage and peanut butter bars. Everyone kept saying the food “melted in their mouth!” 🥰 The meal was absolutely loved and appreciated by all.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and the love you pour into serving our community. This is what Compassion in Action looks like. We are so grateful for each of you and your continued support of GVSH. 🙏❤️

Their generosity continues to bless our shelter and the individuals we serve through donations of laundry pods, fabric softener, dryer sheets, and shampoo. These may seem like simple items, but they help provide dignity, comfort, and care to those who need it most.
