Well ole Mother Nature is sneaking up on me and I thought I had more time🤔 We have a fundraiser in the making for November but I think the need is going to be sooner than that l. As you all know the split heater went out over year ago and we paid to get another mother board put in and it still doesn’t work. I ran window air and space heaters since it broke . Window air not a big deal. Space heaters however scare me to pieces with the cat hair. So we are trying to replace the mini split

The good thing about the mini split is that it actually cools and heats to keep a steady temperature at all times. Which is perfect this time of year when one minute you need air and over night you need heat, this automatically adjust to maintain the temp at what ever you choose it to be.

Tis the season and how absolutely gorgeous are these new arrivals ♥️🐾 the 3 boys will get their debut with the vet first thing in the morning and the females shortly after this week . This is why donations are so important this will be over $700 to get them all vetted and without you that couldn’t happen 🙏
Also our climbing towers have seen the better days so if you see any or have any laying around remember us 🙏the best ones for this many cats are 2x4’s wrapped in carpet the ikea ones unfortunately don’t last long

“Dorothy “ update she is drinking water which is a great sign I am still seeing signs that would appear she is blind but we will know more once the vet gets here . We will be giving her intravenous fluids and antibiotics to help rehydrate and hopefully get good news 🙏 Thanks for all your prayers she is definitely not a feral cat , she is very sweet.

Long post sorry
Today has definitely been a whirl wind of emotions at the rescue
first the little guys finally got their voices and they are sure proud of it ♥️ And then after only being 2 years of age we lost our beautiful CeCe 🥲she has always been my little sick one with allergies and eye meds but her body just finally decided enough 😿she was as sweet as could be and will be dearly missed 🙏When I thought things were settling down I get a phone call about a cat at the park between 2nd and 3rd base that looks to be in pretty rough shape and as I pulled up I thought I was too late but she mustered up the energy to run from me until I got reinforcement and finally got her in a cage to take to vet ……..low and behind unless it is critical they won’t even see her🤦‍♀️ so back home and tucked in for the night she is ♥️ I always get questioned about “why are you doing this “ or “ya can’t save em all “ WELL I am here to let everyone know I am who I am 🙌 I have and ALWAYS WILL love cats and dogs and almost any little creature that needs me 🤷‍♀️ I will put myself in situations that I shouldn’t and sometimes they will eat and have heat and air before me THAT IS WHO I AM 🤷‍♀️I don’t do nice things for atta girls I genuinely love my rescue and if I can give them a better chance then I am going to damn sure give it what I got . We struggle as everyone does and I am terrible at keeping up the social media aspect BUT we are open and we have no plans of closing down whatsoever !
We aren’t fancy with perfectly laced curtains and every once in awhile we are a damn mess but our rescue is always full of love and happy cats 🐾♥️🐾 sorry for long post but it’s been a day thanks for sticking around 🙌 (ps when I say we I mean me because we all know I’m a one woman band 😂)

Hi everyone I am back 😻As most of you know on May 30 I mysteriously broke my back 😢 After 50 days I am finally getting some normalcy back. The rescue has been doing good and we are still going strong we just needed to take a small step back from the littles until I could properly care for everyone 🙏 Here are some updated pictures of everyone and please feel free to reach out if you would like to meet anyone. Hello everyone 👋 hope all is well and everyone is staying cool in this heat wave ☀️I am in need of immediate fosters for some of our fur babies🙏 I recently broke my back (no idea how ) and I am not able to take care of everyone and give them attention they need . I have someone coming and helping me daily with them but it also isn’t their burden to bear. The rescue is staying open I am just trying to lighten the load a little. I am getting a lot of interest in the babies and it is much appreciated, however they are way to young for adoption and at this time we don’t know much about them , so please give us time to get them all situated and we will be sure to let you all know when they are healthy and available 😻🙏❤️
