“Thanks to the generous support of the Literacy for Life Grant, our garden project is well underway! We’ve been busy preparing the garden grounds, building raised and elevated planter beds, installing drip irrigation, planting fruit trees, and setting up two hydroponic systems in our classroom.

Our students have been actively involved throughout the process, gaining hands-on vocational experiences through construction, planting, and ongoing garden maintenance. In the classroom, students are planting seeds, monitoring growth, and learning how to transplant them. We’re so excited to see our garden continue to grow and to provide our students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences!” — Samantha, Literacy for Life Grant Recipient
