Founded in the early 1970's, the Sacramento NLPOA Chapter is the Largest, Oldest and Most Community Active NLPOA Chapter in Northern California. Sacramento NLPOA has given away thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving students and has developed conferences, workshops and mentors to help quali

Membership is open to anyone who lives in the Greater Sacramento Area. The Sacramento NLPOA Chapter was founded by Deputy John Parraz, from the Sacramento Sheriff's Department. Now the National Latino Peace Officers Association is a National Organization with chapters in many cities within the United States. All charitable donations and memberships are tax deductible. The Sacramento Chapter is a 501 C (3) Non Profit Organization. Just fill out our membership application and mail in your membership. Also, if you live outside the Sacramento area you can become a "member at large" with the Sacramento NLPOA.

The NLPOA Sacramento Chapter was honored to host the Joe F. Gomez Memorial Scholarship Ceremony in conjuction with ! We provided scholarships to 10 recipients and appreciated Alyssa Gomez in attendance with some encouraging words! Congratulations to the students and continued success. A BIG THANK YOU to Chief Jamal Rowe for supporting our delicious dinner for the event. And lots of love to Chaplain for the invocation! It takes a village and we truly appreciate everyone involved in this event!
