The Sacramento Metro Chamber & Metro PAC are proud to announce the release of the 2026 Comprehensive Voter Guide, featuring the positions on state propositions and local measures along with a full slate of candidate endorsements that are For Business.

🗳️ Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.

Whether you’re voting in person or by mail, now is the time to make your plan to vote. Find our voter guide at metrochamber.org. Make a plan. Cast your ballot. Be heard.

Polls are open Tuesday, November 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked by Election Day. If mailing your ballot on November 3, take it to a United States Post Office and request a manual postmark from a postal employee.

Have you heard? Right now is the open voting period for members to weigh in on the proposed combination with BECU. If you’re a SAFE member – go cast your ballot.

President & CEO of the Sacramento Metro Chamber, Robert Heidt, highlights this opportunity for economic growth, saying that this combination is a smart strategy that will benefit SAFE members, employees, community partners, and the regional economy. You can also read an op-ed from retired President & CEO of SAFE Credit Union, David Roughton, in Gold Mountain News where he says the "financial benefits of this merger are both immediate and verifiable."

Bringing this new level of investment and opportunity to our region is exciting – we want SAFE Credit Union to grow successfully and support the Sacramento region for decades to come.

An evening of meaningful conversations, powerful perspectives, and a reminder of the importance of reclaiming your own story 🎤

This week, the Sacramento Speaker Series welcomed Monica Lewinsky for an engaging conversation about personal reinvention, resilience, public scrutiny, and the lasting impact of public shaming in an increasingly digital world.

Drawing from her own experiences navigating life in the public eye, Monica reflected on how society's perceptions can shape our identities, the evolution of cyberbullying and online harassment, and the importance of empathy in how we treat one another. She also shared insights into her journey from being defined by a public narrative to finding her voice as an advocate for change, encouraging others to recognize that our most difficult experiences do not have to define what comes next.

Our evening began with Monica connecting with local students through our Share the Vision program, offering the next generation an opportunity to engage directly with an influential voice and ask questions of their own. She also spent time meeting and connecting with Sacramento Speaker Series patrons in the Founder's Room before taking the stage for a fireside chat moderated by KCRA's Edie Lambert.

Another week of showing up, connecting with our community, and supporting the people and organizations helping move the Capital Region forward. 💙

Our team joined Sacramento Republic FC for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new Stadium Preview Center. The Preview Center offers an exciting look at what’s ahead for Republic Stadium at The Railyards and the continued growth happening across our region.

The team visited the Audacy facility and connected with Bill Davis to learn more about the work Audacy is doing throughout the region.

Andrew H. met with Sydney Mathis of Eternal Generations Emerging for coffee at Pachamama. It was a great opportunity to connect, build relationships, and learn more about the work happening across our community.

As a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee, Robert had the opportunity to connect with Chamber leaders from across the country and hear from national business and policy leaders, including U.S. Chamber CEO Suzanne Clark. These conversations provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices that can help strengthen our business community here in Sacramento.

Robert also connected with Heidi Pyle and Dion Dwyer of MMS, along with Fred Palmer and Samuel Jones of the Rainbow Chamber. Building relationships and creating opportunities for collaboration across our business community is an important part of the work we do every day.

Cameron and Andrew joined the Women in Data Poker Night Fundraiser, supporting a great cause while connecting with members of the region’s data and technology community.

We wrapped up the week with an evening of the Sacramento Speakers Series featuring Monica Lewinsky. We’re sharing a few snapshots from the event, with more photos and highlights to come!

From local businesses and community organizations to national Chamber connections, we’re proud to keep showing up, building relationships, and supporting the people who make the Capital Region such a dynamic place to live.
