We were inspired to see more than 50 community members at Molina yesterday for a diabetes education workshop focused on prevention and healthy living.

Participants learned practical ways to reduce their risk of developing diabetes and received fresh produce to help make healthy eating more accessible. We're grateful for the opportunity to connect our community with nutrition education and healthy food options that support long-term wellness.

Connecting residents with resources, information, and opportunities at Regional Safety Day! β˜€οΈ

This weekend in Elk Grove, we shared important safety tips to help families prepare for summer’s extreme heat, stay hydrated, and protect their well-being during warmer temperatures.

We also highlighted programs designed to support our community year-round, including one-on-one financial coaching and youth workforce workshops that help residents build skills and reach their goals.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us to help build safer, more informed community!

Ensuring everyone has access to nutritious food isn't just a health initiative, it requires a massive, cross-sector effort.

That’s why Debra Oto-Kent, our Founder and Executive Director, is headed to Washington, D.C. on June 10th to attend the Good Food for All Summit where she is speaking on the Community Health, Nutrition, and the Need for Affordability panel. The summit is co-hosted by Partnership for a Healthier America and The Global Food Institute at the George Washington University.

Debra is looking forward to connecting with fellow food system leaders, exploring actionable solutions for food equity, and diving into some incredibly meaningful conversations.

Building a workforce starts with conversations like this!

Leaders from across education, workforce development, and business sectors came together for another productive Workforce Development Advisory Meeting to address our region’s growing workforce needs and strengthen pathways to opportunity.

A special thank you to Marconi Learning Academy for hosting us and welcoming us into their space. We appreciated learning more about the impactful programs and resources they provide to support students and families throughout our community.
