Cities across Los Angeles are sounding the alarm on
Attorney General Rob Bonta's cardroom regulations and the damage they will do to local communities. City leaders and
AFSCME District Council 36 members are calling on the Legislature to step in and protect city services.

"The state has a responsibility to fix what the state broke. The responsibility now falls on the legislature. Fund the cities," said Juan Garza, Executive Director of the California Cities for Self-Reliance JPA.

Multiple SoCal cities are fighting back against new cardroom regulations and say recent changes are dealing them a bad hand when it comes to their revenue.
