💚 Connecting With Our Community — And Seeing the Impact Firsthand 💚

On October 1st, Community Resource Project (CRP) was proud to attend SMUD’s Connecting with the Community event.

But sometimes, the most powerful part of showing up in our community is hearing directly from the people we serve. ❤️

During the event, one community member shared her heartfelt experience with CRP — telling us how much our organization has helped her, how happy she was to see us there, and how much she appreciates the work we do in the community.

🎥 Her words are a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

This is the heart of community impact. It’s the relationships we build, the resources we connect people to, the doors we help open, and the difference those efforts can make in someone’s life.

✨ CRP was honored to attend the CRLA Foundation’s 2026 Luchando Por Justicia Gala! ✊🏽❤️

Our CEO, Wilfredo Cruz Jr., along with fellow CRP board members, were proud to join an inspiring evening celebrating 45 years of courage, culture, and collective power in support of farmworkers and communities across California.

From honoring civil rights trailblazers to celebrating through music, traditional dance, art, and community, the evening was a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish when we stand together for justice and equity.

Thank you to the CRLA Foundation for welcoming CRP and for the incredible work you continue to do in our communities. We are honored to stand alongside you and support your mission. ❤️🌱
