National Night Out tonight. Everyone beat the heat and enjoyed an evening of hula and community. Mahalo South Land Park Neighborhood Association for having us and always supporting our ‘ohana. Mahalo Senator Angelique Ashby for your ongoing support of our culture.

We are preparing for our annual huaka'i to Hawai'i to learn and perform next to our Kūhai Hālau 'ohana o ka hula from around the world in October! We will be participating in workshops, celebration and 2 festivals, including the Moanike'ala Festival at the Polynesian Culture Center and Kekelaokalani Festival in Lā'ie. What an honor it was to share in the celebration of life's precious moments and grant a final wish for a 60th birthday milestone in the spirit of aloha in Hawaii. Though strangers initially, the 'ohana's love and warmth enveloped us from the moment we stepped into the space, despite the rain outside. With hearts filled with joy and gratitude, we formed unbreakable bonds with the family and the medical team, a memory we will cherish forever. Mahalo to Steve Chipp for your soulful mele that added depth to our collective experience of aloha. To the Sutter Roseville Team, our heartfelt thanks for sharing this moment with him and us, a memory we will forever hold dear.
