Global supply chains are at a breaking point due to wild economic swings, energy crunches, and consistent cyber threats. It's no wonder businesses are leaning into AI just to keep operations moving.

A survey of 1,800 global executives shows a major shift: 58% expect supply chains to localize by 2030, while only 31% think globalization will hold. Companies are moving from cost-cutting to risk-proofing, choosing stability over fragile global networks.

The message is clear: the future belongs to supply chains that are more efficient and built to adapt.

Swipe fees aren’t just a restaurant issue; they impact every customer and small business in every state. Each time a card is used, banks and card networks take a cut of the full transaction, including sales tax. These hidden fees add up fast, and communities across the country are feeling the impact.

States nationwide are now taking action, introducing legislation to put an end to swipe fees that are charged on money that businesses never end up keeping. Exempting sales tax from swipe fees would present meaningful savings for Main Street and the local economies that depend on it.

The lawsuit burden hits America’s small businesses in ways that make it impossible to recover. Data shows just how heavy the legal system’s price tag has become for small business owners, and the scale is staggering, as they shoulder an estimated $160 billion in commercial liability costs from the U.S. lawsuit system. These detrimental costs hit businesses that earn $10 million or less, the very companies with the least room to absorb unexpected legal expenses.

These costs divert money from hiring, wages, and expansion opportunities, and small businesses are feeling the pain.

Trade uncertainty is set to hit supply chains hard as 2026 continues. Retailers and manufacturers are bracing for material shortages (like semiconductors and beef), higher operational costs, and growing concerns about logistics reliability. The stress points are stacking up fast.

Yes, supply-chain leaders have learned to stay resilient, but even the strongest systems can only absorb so much annually. While businesses fight through rising costs and unpredictable disruptions, staying prepared isn’t optional; it’s survival.

Our supply chain infrastructure is aging out, underfunded, and slowing everything down. Freight moves slower, costs climb higher, and retailers are trying to grow with roads, ports, and systems that just can’t keep up.

Fixing America’s supply chain infrastructure starts with real investment, modern ports, advanced technology, stronger transportation networks, and infrastructure built for the speed of today’s economy. No more patch-and-pray. It’s time for a full rebuild!

St. Patrick's Day has become a major retail holiday in the U.S. Americans spend $7 billion every year on food, drinks, decorations, and festive clothing. What most people don’t see is how hidden fees silently inflate the cost of celebrating. Every pint, piece of green apparel, and every meal comes with extra fees from credit card companies, even on taxes and tips.

St. Patrick's Day should be a celebration of culture, community, and connection, not a money grab for Wall Street!

The National Restaurant Association is taking a strong stand for operators by pushing for real federal policy changes that businesses need to stay competitive. Their 2026 agenda doesn’t shy away from the tough fights, including demanding more competition in swipe fees and challenging big banks that have driven costs sky-high for years.
Restaurants power millions of jobs & anchor our local economies. When organizations fight for the businesses that feed our community, we all move forward.

Small businesses already pay 36% more per employee to comply with regulations than large corporations, and swipe fees pile on even more costs that are unavoidable. Across the country, states are stepping up with legislation to protect small businesses, bring transparency to the payments system and finally stand up to the big banks driving these fees higher every year. Equality and fair payments belong in the hands of Main Street! Visit the link in our bio to discover more ways to prioritize Main Street over Wall Street.

Our friends at at Stop the Skim said it best. Colorado's cash ought to stay where it belongs: in Colorado.

This isn't a partisan issue. Federal leaders on both sides of the aisle, like Senators Durbin and Hawley, are pushing for nationwide change to lower costs and bring fairness back to the economy. Now, Colorado is stepping up to do the same.

We applaud Senator Lindstedt, Senator Jodeh, Speaker McCluskie, and Majority Leader Duran for making the brave choice to stand up to the big banks that are ripping off Americans.

By William Lindstedt, Iman Jodeh, Julie McCluskie and Monica Duran Small businesses across Colorado are working harder than ever right now to keep their doors open, hire local workers and serve their communities. But every day, they are forced to pay costly, hidden fees on money that was never their...

Efforts to lower costs for American families and end hidden credit card fees that fuel Wall Street’s ballooning profits just scored a BIG win. A federal judge in Illinois just struck down a lawsuit challenging a first-of-its-kind law stopping credit card companies from tacking hidden fees onto taxes and tips. The takeaway couldn’t be clearer: nothing is blocking states or Congress from acting right now.

Illinois didn’t wait for it; they set the tone. This isn’t about disrupting the system; it's about fixing a system that’s been stacked against families and small businesses for far too long. It’s time for swipe fee reform across the country NOW.

Supply chains aren’t calming down in 2026; they’re getting more complicated.

Businesses are still getting hit by economic swings, extreme weather, and labor shortages. Supply chain distributions cost companies $184 billion every year, and 65% report at least one major bottleneck. To keep up and stay competitive, companies are turning to smarter forecasting tools.

In today’s supply chain chaos, agility isn’t optional; it’s survival.
