Growing Kapwa: Welcoming More Hearts to Serve ❤️

This month, we are filled with gratitude as we welcome new volunteers into the Kapwa family. Each person who chooses to give their time, energy, and compassion becomes a beautiful reminder that kindness grows when we choose to stand together.

Our monthly deliveries are not just about bringing supplies they are about bringing hope, dignity, and the message that these families are seen, valued, listened to and loved.

To our new volunteers, thank you for opening your hearts to serve families who are walking through difficult seasons. Your willingness to show up, help, and share your gifts makes a meaningful difference. Every supplies delivered, every conversation shared, and every act of kindness carries the love of a community that cares.

A Personal Check-in

This season has reminded me that growth is often quiet. There are days filled with joy, days filled with waiting, and days when God is simply teaching me to trust Him one step at a time.
I'm grateful that His faithfulness never changes, even when life does.

Sometimes we think the biggest impact comes from doing something extraordinary. But God often works through ordinary acts of faithfulness a visit, a prayer, a meal shared, a listening ear, or simply showing up.

We may not always see the fruit of our labor, but every act of love plants a seed that God can grow.

"Let us not become weary in doing good..." — Galatians 6:9

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers.

Two days ago, our volunteers had the privilege of delivering two wheelchairs to twin brothers, Zian & Zion, living with cerebral palsy.

Zian & Zion are not walking yet due to their diagnosis, and because they are growing and getting heavier, it is essential that they have wheelchairs to provide proper support for their growing bodies. This will also alleviate the burden on their mother from carrying them, especially since she has to carry both boys. We also want to help preserve the health of their mother, as she is the primary caregiver for them.

For families like theirs, a wheelchair is more than just equipment it is freedom, comfort, dignity, and opportunity. These new wheelchairs provide the twins with proper trunk support to help maintain healthy posture and reduce the risk of developing scoliosis. Most importantly, they can now move around more comfortably and participate more fully in everyday life.

We are grateful to everyone who makes this possible. Your generosity helps families who are doing their very best under difficult circumstances. Together, we are not only providing equipment—we are bringing hope, support, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Meet Jenny, a single mother whose life revolves around caring for her son, Primo.

Primo lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and global developmental delays. Every day brings new challenges from medical appointments and therapies to finding the resources needed to meet his daily needs. Yet through it all, Jenny continues to move forward with unwavering love and determination.

As a single parent, she carries responsibilities that many of us can only imagine. There are difficult days, moments of uncertainty, and obstacles that seem impossible to overcome. But Jenny's love for Primo gives her the strength to keep fighting for his future.

In this video, Jenny shares her journey, her struggles, her hopes, and the deep love she has for her son.

Her story is a reminder that behind every child with special needs is a caregiver whose sacrifices often go unseen. Today, we honor Jenny's resilience, courage, and faith as she continues to advocate for Primo every single day.

Behind every delivery of diapers, formula, medication, and hope is a team of volunteers willing to serve with love.

Christian and Jasy are the hands and feet of Kapwa Global Foundation in the Philippines. Month after month, they travel to the homes of families raising children with disabilities, bringing not only essential supplies but also encouragement, friendship, and compassion.

Whether under the heat of the sun or in the middle of a rainy day, they faithfully show up. They spend time listening to parents, getting to know each family's story, and reminding them that they are not alone in their journey.
Their service goes far beyond delivering goods—it is about restoring dignity, building relationships, and sharing hope with families facing extraordinary challenges.

We are deeply grateful for Christian and Jasy and for the love they continue to pour into our mission.

At Kapwa Global Foundation, we are committed to supporting children with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities in the Philippines. This year, we’re expanding our reach to serve even more children. Our team continues to deliver formula, diapers, and other essentials directly to families’ homes—removing the burden of long, difficult travel for parents caring for a child with special needs. We are also working to provide medications for children experiencing seizures and other health challenges, ensuring they receive not only care, but the dignity every child deserves.
