The Delta Tribal Environmental Coalition (DTEC), consisting of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, Winnemem Wintu Tribe, Little Manila Rising, and Restore the Delta, has submitted a letter to the California Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee opposing AB 2215.

Coalition members warn that the bill is an attempt to clear the path for controversial projects, including the Delta Conveyance Project, without proper regulatory and public oversight.

With the Delta facing an ecological crisis, the coalition emphasizes the importance of maintaining strong State Water Board processes that ensure transparency, accountability, and meaningful public participation in water management decisions.

$65 million could have leveraged so much more than just warehousing and rotating Unhoused people every 28 days.
The city got rid of inclusionary housing rules in 2015. Because of this bad decision the city has fallen way behind in building very-low-income housing: approximately 18,000 to 22,000 units behind.
There are about 650,000(42%of total county population)low income persons living in this county one crisis away from homelessness.

The city of Roseville has had a successful 10% inclusionary housing for the last 30 years. They are not so behind on units. We’re witnessing 10 years of bad policy making and now people wonder?

City audit raises questions about the link between Sacramento's homeless shelters and connecting unhoused residents with stable housing.
