Hello,

We’re excited to share that SMUD’s 3-year multi-award catering contract is anticipated to open for vendor responses in August! This is a fantastic chance to become a preferred catering provider for SMUD and serve their internal catering events and functions.

To qualify for this opportunity, vendors must be enrolled in SMUD’s SEED vendor program. To qualify for SEED, you’ll need a CA Department of General Services small business certification, and your business must be headquartered within SMUD’s service territory for at least 6 months.

We encourage you to start the CA Department of General Services small business certification process now to meet all eligibility requirements when the opportunity becomes available for you to respond to. If you are already a SMUD catering vendor, you will need to submit a response again for this opportunity once it has opened.
