What a wonderful evening celebrating the Sacramento Begonia Society! 🌿🌸

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our birthday dinner. A special thank you to our president, Kristen, for the incredible work she put into researching our club’s history and creating a beautiful slideshow, and for bringing together a great panel of members who shared their memories.

Thank you to our panelists and to Marlene for putting together highlights from throughout the years. We’re so grateful for our amazing begonia community! 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Sacramento Begonia Society’s birthday dinner! It was a wonderful evening celebrating our club’s history, friendships, and shared love of begonias. 🌸

A very special thank you to our president, Kristen, for the incredible amount of work she put into the evening. She spent countless hours going through pages and pages of old Sacramento Begonia Society newsletters and photos, gathering fascinating stories and information about our club over the years. Kristen also created a fantastic slideshow filled with photos and articles that highlighted the rich history of our society.

She also assembled an excellent panel of knowledgeable members who shared firsthand memories and stories from throughout the years. Thank you to our panel members for contributing your experiences and helping bring our club’s history to life.

We would also like to thank Marlene for putting together highlights from our club’s history and helping make the evening so special.

It was truly a wonderful celebration of the Sacramento Begonia Society and the amazing community that has grown around it over the years. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening memorable! 🌿

🌱✨ Propagation Night is almost here! ✨🌱

One of our most anticipated meetings of the year is happening Tuesday January 20th @ 7PM at Shepard Garden — and you don’t want to miss it!

This is a hands-on propagation workshop where members, guests, and anyone curious about begonias will work in small groups, rotate through multiple stations, and learn different propagation techniques from our expert growers.

✂️🌿 Bonus: Everyone will go home with new begonia cuttings!

The one and only Joan Coulat is a force of nature. She has been a member of the Sacramento Branch for over 40 years and she grows hundreds of begonias to this day.
