Day 3 of the WTS Capital Summit was the perfect way to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day! We toured the WMATA Integrated Command and Communications Center in Arlington, VA and then toured the HNTB new office in Arlington where we learned about several of their projects including an expansion of the Arlington National Cemetery, roadway improvements in preparation for the Formula 1 race in DC, and the Long Bridge North PDB. We also heard from a panel of their engineers.

Yesterday we gathered .bernardo to celebrate the unveiling of a new mural in downtown Sacramento!

Brought to life through a collaborative effort between , , and the , this vibrant mural celebrates women in the field of transportation, highlighting collaboration, creativity, careers and community.

Again, thank you to the amazing artist for creating the most perfect piece for not only the wall mural but the Sac RT Car! 🚉🧡
