Friendship Park is the heart and soul of Loaves and Fishes. The Park provides free local telephone calls to our guests. There is an Information Service Center that assists guests with services: lunch meal tickets, toiletry distribution, locker storage, etc. The Intake Office located within the Service Center also provides guests with ID vouchers and outdoor gear including shoes, tents, jackets, an
d sleeping bags, etc. With the help of donations from the community, the Park has developed the Men’s Wash House for guests, providing laundry services as well as a place to shower and shave. Community donations also contribute to the Breakfast Program in which breakfast bags and coffee are distributed to guests in the morning. The Park holds events and activities, such as arts & crafts, bingo, and game tournaments for the entertainment of our guests in addition to providing access to our library with books and computer usage. For guests with pets, our kennel provides daytime shelter for pets while the guests utilize park services.
