We’re thrilled to share that yesterday’s Jog-A-Thon was a huge success! The excitement all week was incredible, and the lessons and enthusiasm from the APEX Leadership team were truly amazing. We could see and feel the positive impact on our school and community long before the big day, and yesterday’s event was the perfect culmination.
 
Thank you to the entire community for your incredible support, and to the parents who captured all the wonderful moments. We’ve posted a collection of photos showcasing the smiles, energy, and joy of the kids during their celebration run.
 
A big thank you to APEX, all the teachers, parents, and everyone who donated. We’re currently tallying up the results from the fundraiser and will share the outcomes soon. We hope you enjoy these snapshots of a memorable day!

This morning, Pony Express Elementary School joined schools across the nation in honoring Ruby Bridges, Leona Tate, Gail Etienne, Tessie Prevost, and the countless brave young people who helped pave the way for equality in education.

Our students walked together to remember their courage, their resilience, and their impact—recognizing that change often begins with kids just like them taking a brave first step.

Today’s walk was more than a tradition; it was a reminder that inclusion, respect, and kindness start with us. We’re proud of our Pony community for showing up, learning, and honoring this important part of our history.

What a season! Our Pony Express Football Team wrapped up a fantastic year with a 4–2 record, showing teamwork, heart, and growth every step of the way. Although the playoff run ended against a tough opponent, these players gave it their all and represented our school with pride and sportsmanship.

A huge thank you to Coach Ledford, all of our dedicated coaches, and the amazing parents and Pony families who came out to support the team all season long. Your encouragement and spirit made this season one to remember!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible students, dedicated teachers, supportive admin team, and amazing parents for coming together to kick off the new school year in style. 🚀📚

The energy and excitement in the air last night proved that we are ready for an incredible year of learning, growth, and community spirit. 💙 Let’s make this year the best one yet—filled with new friendships, big achievements, and unforgettable memories!

Open House is this Thursday, May 29. Classrooms are open from 5:30-6:30.

The school is ready for lawn chairs and blankets with 2 food trucks so that you can have dinner here. Picnic on the Green is from 5-7.

It’s also the premiere of The Lion King! Doors to the cafeteria will open at 6:45 and the show starts at 7:00.

If you can’t make it Thursday evening there are also TWO shows on Friday, May 30th at 4:30 and 6:30.
